Yesterday, Peter Shumlin was on Varney’s show (Fox Business Channel) talking about the vote to shut down Vermont Yankee.
One of the things Senator Shumlin claimed was that Germany receives about 30% of its power from solar technology. Varney said that was impossible but he would research the fact.
Today, Varney again brought it up on his show. This time Varney and a new guest claimed that Shumlin was wrong; Germany gets only 1% of power from solar.
Did Senator Shumlin get caught telling a whopper?

Hi Brian & Martha-
I was thinking that this coalition of ladies might be a good resource to host coffee hours in area communities. Women are connective and it would be great if in each community, a coffee hour be held - inviting neighbors and other ladies to visit with you for themselves.
I would be happy to host one of these (st. albans) to kick this trend off, if you think it would help the cause.
