Excerpt from a Letter to the Editor in today's Burlington Free Press:
I find it refreshing that Dubie uses Facebook to connect personally with Vermonters, engaging with us, the voters, who have the biggest stake in the outcome of November's election. I've met with Dubie in person as well, and I've got to say -- how refreshing, too, to hear a politician be honest about the challenges our state faces.

In case you missed it, the Stowe Reporter wrote a spot-on editorial last week titled "To Tell the Truth" discussing the campaign's online Jobs ad.
Read an excerpt and then take some time to read the full editorial by clicking below:
The hooha over Dubie’s ad reminded us of the kind of heat we take for running headlines that tell it like it is. If the news is not good, then it’s not good, and we say so. But often we hear from readers and advertisers who howl that, essentially, reporting the facts makes things worse. Instead, they would prefer that we pretend problems don’t exist and hope they’ll go away.
That’s no way to run a news organization, and no way to campaign for governor. Put the information out there so that an informed readership can ask more questions and eventually make wise decisions. A candidate for governor should tell it like it is. Then tell us what he or she would do about it. After that, we’ll decide who runs the state.

We just launched a new door-knocking initiative "40K by Labor Day" which will track our progress as the campaign aims to knock on 40,000 doors by Labor Day Weekend.
Brian has already knocked on doors in two counties, and on Thursday the campaign knocked on it's 10,000th door. Over the next 14 weeks Brian and our team of door-knocking volunteers will knock on doors in all 14 counties.
We have created a brand new web page for you to follow our door-knocking progress: www.40kByLaborDay.com

Please take a moment to read yesterday's Herald Standard article titled "Vermont's Important Dubie."
An excerpt from the article: "Pennsylvania State Senator John Pippy (R) who is a major in the U.S. Army Reserve, a West Point Graduate, and the most intelligent member on security and the military in the Pennsylvania Legislature said "Dubie possesses the analytical and intelligent" analysis that former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has. Like Giuliani, Dubie understands critical factors and details."
