Yesterday Brian spoke at a press conference highlighting Vermont's role in promoting federal vehicle efficiency standards.
An excerpt from Brian's comments at the event:
"In a state like Vermont, where virtually all of our emissions come from transportation, we need to do everything we can to push the technology to a new level. In fact, a green revolution is coming to our roadways, and some smart Vermont companies are taking the lead with lighter, better materials and new energy storage technology - like Plasan and Vermont Composites, GS Precision, Dynapower and SB Electronics. We need to support them in every way we can."

Great article in today's Brattleboro Reformer about Brian's trip to Brattleboro on Wednesday evening. Read an excerpt and then click below to read the full article:
The combination of Dubie, the four-term lieutenant governor from Essex Junction, and five different types of homemade chili attracted more than 75 supporters to the event. While speaking to the county’s GOP committee at Brattleboro’s Masonic Hall, Dubie said his campaign is about ideas on how to make Vermont a better, stronger state -- to improve the school systems, care for Vermont’s elderly and disabled, protect the environment and upgrade the state’s infrastructure. "But we can only do that if we have a strong economy," he said. "And the way we can improve our economy in Vermont is by making our state more competitive."
